Minister for Primary Industries and Water Bryan Green today welcomed the results of a survey showing a significant improvement in responsible recreational fishing practices.

“Recreational fishing remains a very popular past-time with more than one in four Tasmanians fishing at least once a year,” Mr Green said.

The survey was undertaken by the Tasmanian Aquaculture and Fisheries Institute (TAFI) and the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
